About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well‑established engineering company in Pretoria. The role focuses on designing mechanical components, performing finite element analysis, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
• Conduct and interpret Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to validate designs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• BEng, BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience in mechanical design.
• Proven experience with Finite Element Analysis.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

• ANSYS (essential).
