Logistics Coordinator – Export Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to support a major mining and commodity export operation that moves products from Africa to Asia. The role involves managing the full export logistics chain, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and in compliance with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑border transportation and inland haulage for bulk commodities.
• Prepare and manage customs and export documentation.
• Book ocean freight, secure vessel space and oversee container handling at ports.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PL providers and other logistics partners.
• Provide day‑to‑day export execution support and resolve shipment issues under pressure.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in full‑cycle export logistics, preferably within mining or bulk commodity sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders across borders.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
