Junior/Mid-Level IT Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior/Mid‑Level IT Technician to join our Cape Town team. The role is full‑time and on‑site, providing day‑to‑day technical support to a range of small‑ and medium‑size business clients.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues reported through support tickets.
• Install, configure and maintain workstations, printers and other peripherals.
• Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades and imaging of devices.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technicians and document resolutions clearly.
• Travel to client sites within the Johannesburg area when required.

Required profile

• Foundational IT knowledge and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Basic networking understanding (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi).
• Ability to manage multiple tickets, prioritize tasks and meet response times.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior team members.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client locations.
