Junior Quality Control Analyst – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Quality Control Analyst to join our fast‑moving FMCG operations in Johannesburg. The role is responsible for safeguarding product quality throughout the supply chain, from raw material receipt to final product dispatch, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic quality checks on incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.
• Develop, document, and implement robust quality control procedures aligned with industry best practices.
• Ensure all activities comply with local and international regulatory standards.
• Analyse test data, generate reports, and identify trends for process optimisation.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply‑chain teams to resolve quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Qualification in Food Technology, Biotechnology or Analytical Chemistry.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on experience in a FMCG environment.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and reporting.
