Junior-Mid Integrated Art Director

About the role

A leading TTL creative ad agency, part of an international agency group, is looking for a junior to mid-level Integrated Art Director based in Cape Town. The role suits a fully integrated creative who can take a campaign from concept to rollout, working across disciplines on established brands. Candidates who were previously disadvantaged will receive preference.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and craft original, usable concepts in response to creative briefs
• Collaborate across the agency on a variety of projects
• Work with both local and international brands

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Design, Art Direction or Visual Communication
• At least 2-3 years' experience in an advertising environment
• Passion for visual communications and excellent conceptual ability
• Portfolio showing through-the-line work
• Able to take a campaign from concept to rollout
• Experience with relevant agency structures and processes

Required skills

• Adobe Suite, with good After Effects and Premiere Pro skills
• InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Other presentation tools needed for the job
• Advantageous: exposure to animation, editing and moving and still assets
