About the role

Burnt Studios is seeking a Junior Assistant Store Manager to join its retail team in Stellenbosch, South Africa. This role is a stepping‑stone to high‑impact retail leadership, responsible for driving daily store performance and upholding the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as second‑in‑command on the floor, ensuring the store runs with structure, pace, and focus.
• Drive daily execution by keeping the team aligned, accountable, and energised.
• Support store performance by actively contributing to sales and operational outcomes.
• Take ownership of the store environment, from floor standards to team energy.
• Step into leadership when required and make sound, real‑time decisions.
• Support team members through guidance, correction, and encouragement.
• Ensure stock flow, replenishment, and presentation are always on point.
• Maintain consistency in how the brand is represented through people, product, and experience.
