Junior Accountant – SAIPA (Pretoria)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our SAIPA team in Pretoria East, Garsfontein. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax administration while supporting senior accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Prepare financial records, supporting documentation, and capture financial information.
• Process VAT and tax‑related administration tasks.
• Perform reconciliations and general ledger entries.
• Support senior accountants in managing client portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with SAIPA standards and procedures.
• Handle general administrative duties related to accounting processes.

Required profile

• Currently studying towards a BCom Accounting degree or a completed BCom Accounting graduate.
• Strong academic background in accounting and finance.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
