Junior Accountant

About the role

Join a leading industrial manufacturing business as a Junior Accountant, supporting day‑to‑day financial operations and gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting functions. Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Process and reconcile cashbooks, petty cash, and general ledger transactions.
• Manage local and foreign supplier invoices and perform reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly bank and clearing account reconciliations.
• Process company business card transactions.
• Ensure accurate VAT allocations and compliance with financial policies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month‑end accounting processes and reporting requirements.
• Uphold IFRS standards, internal controls, and corporate governance principles.
• Provide professional support to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bookkeeping Certificate/Diploma or BCom Degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong reconciliation and financial administration abilities.

Required skills

• SAP Accounting experience (advantageous).
