About the role
The Kingdom Resort is seeking an IT Support Professional to maintain and enhance its technology environment across multiple resort locations in South Africa. The role involves extensive travel to resort sites, providing hands‑on support for a wide range of hardware and software systems.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to company resorts nationwide to install, repair, upgrade, and maintain PCs, servers, printers, telephones, TVs and wireless equipment.
- Provide technical support to end‑users and third‑party suppliers, resolving incidents and service requests.
- Configure and manage wireless networks using Mikrotik and Ubiquiti devices.
- Maintain cabling and fibre infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity.
- Document procedures, configurations and support activities.
Required profile
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction at all organisational levels.
- Preference given to candidates from designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Plan.
Required skills
- Linux operating systems and Windows 7/10/11.
- Expertise with Mikrotik routers and Ubiquiti access points/routers.
- Wireless networking, cabling and fibre technologies.
- Certifications such as Linux+, LPI, N+, Security+, MCSE or equivalent.
- Wireless certifications (Mikrotik, Ubiquiti) are advantageous.
