About the role
Communicare is a dynamic social enterprise addressing South Africa’s housing crisis. The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the organisation’s IT networks, servers and security systems while working closely with an outsourced IT vendor. This role also provides third‑line network support and contributes to ongoing IT improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the company’s IT network infrastructure.
- Administer and support server environments.
- Manage security systems to protect organisational data.
- Collaborate with the outsourced IT vendor for coordinated service delivery.
- Provide third‑line network support and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for IT processes and services.
Required profile
- Experience in maintaining IT networks, servers and security systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with external IT service providers.
- Strong problem‑solving skills for third‑line support scenarios.
Required skills
