International Financial Manager

About the role

We are looking for a commercially astute finance professional with international exposure to lead the Group's offshore financial integrity across multiple jurisdictions. This strategic leadership position will drive world‑class financial controls, treasury management, compliance and international reporting while supporting long‑term investment and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain robust financial policies, procedures and internal control frameworks for international entities.
• Oversee accounting systems, reporting processes and user access controls to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Manage the full external audit process for offshore entities, including preparation of Annual Financial Statements and liaison with auditors.
• Monitor and manage global cash flow, liquidity and international payment releases through secure banking platforms.
• Research and recommend investment opportunities, build relationships with offshore banks and analyse entity performance for dividend and capital allocation strategies.
• Conduct financial, tax, legal and market research for offshore acquisitions and new investment opportunities.
• Prepare funding and financing packs for international lenders, review financing agreements and advise directors on financial risk.
• Ensure compliance reporting, banking covenant requirements and tax compliance across offshore jurisdictions, including submissions to the South African Reserve Bank.
• Deliver monthly management reports with meaningful financial analysis and monitor development and capital expenditure budgets.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (SA) or equivalent international qualification such as ACCA.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑article experience in a senior financial or managerial role.
• Previous experience within property development, international investments and offshore financial structures.
