Industrial Engineer – Technical Sales Lead for EV Solutions

About the role

Zimi is looking for an Industrial Engineer to act as the technical sales lead for its electric‑vehicle (EV) infrastructure solutions. You will work directly with fleet operators to design, optimise and present customised charging and solar integration plans that meet both operational and financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tailored EV charging plans, solar energy solutions and site layouts using industrial engineering principles.
• Collaborate with sales and account teams to build data‑backed technical proposals for prospective clients.
• Lead technical deep‑dives and needs‑assessment sessions to define project scope and requirements.
• Analyse fleet data, duty cycles and energy demand to model total cost of ownership and optimise infrastructure design.
• Present technical solutions to C‑level executives, fleet managers and engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and project notes within Zoho CRM.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on market trends and client needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering or operational optimisation, preferably in energy, logistics or fleet sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate engineering data into business value.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills and willingness to travel to client sites.
