Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner will support both Pareto Limited and Mowana Properties by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This role focuses on employee relations, recruitment, training, benefits administration, and compliance with labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising vacancies, supporting interview panels, and preparing engagement documentation.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide recruitment analytics to line managers.
• Align HR plans with corporate strategy, participate in strategic planning, and monitor HR trends.
• Develop and update job descriptions, policies, and procedures; conduct periodic policy reviews.
• Manage salary adjustments, leave administration, and employee wellness initiatives.
• Assist with employment equity compliance and departmental budgeting.
• Provide guidance on labour relations, handle grievances, disciplinary hearings, and mediate conflicts.
• Facilitate induction, orientation, counselling, and coaching programs for staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a HR business partner or similar HR generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and employment equity requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
