HR Assistant

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking a motivated HR Assistant to support its growing Human Resources function. You will play a key role in administrative processes, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations within a fast‑moving, vibrant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process HR administration, maintain records, and manage data entry.
• Schedule interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and conduct pre‑employment checks.
• Facilitate onboarding activities, prepare orientation packs, and ensure payroll data is submitted on time.
• Handle termination notifications, update HRIS/ESS, and support industrial‑relations tracking.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and assist with HRIS maintenance and file audits.

Required profile

• Completed or pursuing a relevant Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Knowledge of South African labour legislation (EE Act, BCEA, Labour Relations).
• 2–3 years of experience in report writing and recruitment/selection.
• Valid driver’s licence is a plus.
