About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests. The role involves welcoming visitors, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the stay.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome, assist and direct guests in a courteous manner.
- Provide high‑quality customer service at all times.
- Manage guest check‑in and check‑out, including payment processing.
- Handle telephone calls, emails and reservations promptly and professionally.
- Record and file all correspondence accurately.
- Guarantee bookings and apply no‑show or late‑cancellation charges where appropriate.
- Review and fulfill special guest requests.
- Resolve problems efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.
Required profile
- Experience managing customer relations face‑to‑face and via phone.
- High level of spoken and written English.
- Strong customer service skills across face‑to‑face, telephone and email channels.
- Desirable: proven experience in hospitality, reception or similar customer‑facing role.
- Desirable: cash handling experience.
