Hospitality Systems Administrator

About the role

The Hospitality Systems Administrator joins the central Sales and Distribution team at Village N Life, ensuring the Oracle Opera environment runs smoothly across all properties. You will support day‑to‑day operations, system maintenance, and integration of hospitality technologies while collaborating with reservations, revenue, finance, front office, and F&B teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Oracle Opera PMS across all locations.
• Configure and maintain rate codes, packages, room types, routing rules, and property settings.
• Maintain system structures such as markets, source codes, rate hierarchies, and guest profiles.
• Assist with new property setups, operational changes, and outlet additions.
• Administer Opera POS, including menu updates and transaction code maintenance.
• Maintain PMS‑POS integration links and inventory mapping.
• Load weekly rates, set up promotional packages, and support annual pricing updates.
• Monitor integrations with channel managers, revenue systems, and third‑party platforms, escalating issues as needed.
• Provide first‑line user support, troubleshooting, and guidance on best practices.
• Support reporting for operations, finance, and revenue teams.
• Participate in system upgrades, module rollouts, and property onboarding projects.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with a hospitality property management system.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Opera PMS (essential).
• Exposure to Opera POS is advantageous.
