Graphic Designer – Hospitality Brands

About the role

West Coast Group is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Graphic Designer to support its portfolio of hospitality brands, including Kapstadt Brauhaus, Cape Town Fish Market, and Happy Folks. You will work within a fast‑paced marketing team, producing visual content for both digital and print channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design marketing and promotional material for digital and print platforms such as social media, advertisements, websites, newsletters, presentations, menus, and point‑of‑sale items.
• Create and source imagery that aligns with established brand guidelines.
• Maintain visual integrity and consistency across all group brands.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers, including printers and photographers.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and campaign timelines.
• Quality‑check all artwork to ensure it is accurate, on‑brand, and ready for release.
• Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative, innovative, self‑motivated, and solution‑driven.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Advanced Photoshop skills, including image retouching and deep etching.
• Competence with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with video editing and motion graphics (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Canva and AI‑assisted design tools (advantageous).
