General Worker Artisan Assistant

About the role

Premier is looking for a motivated General Worker Artisan Assistant to support the effective operation of equipment and plant on site. You will work in a high‑performance environment, contributing to plant reliability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain overall effectiveness of equipment and plant facilities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
• Deliver on‑the‑job training to junior staff.
• Assist with plant and system upgrades.
• Perform routine system maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a production plant.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.
• Familiarity with OHS legislation and quality management principles.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions, solve problems and work physically on site.
