Furniture Consultant – 40hr Full-time

About the role

As a Furniture Consultant you will be the face of @Home, delivering an exceptional guest experience and helping customers create inspiring home spaces. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, meeting sales targets while maintaining the store’s visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador and exceed guest expectations by offering tailored solutions.
• Track and achieve sales performance against set targets.
• Sell a diverse range of furniture and homeware, staying current with trends and technology.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive additional sales.
• Assist with stock replenishment and visual merchandising to keep the store ready for guests.

Required profile

• Minimum education: Grade 12 (Matric).
• Passionate about people, target‑driven and results‑focused.
• Strong work ethic, initiative and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Flexible availability for weekends, public holidays and evening shifts.
• Organised, thorough and capable of managing risk, profit and turnover.
• Experience in sales planning, process management and customer value management.
