Face-to-Face & Telemarketing Officer

About the role

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is seeking a dynamic Face-to-Face & Telemarketing Officer to lead external fundraising agencies in South Africa. You will be responsible for driving donor acquisition and retention while upholding MSF’s humanitarian values.

Key responsibilities

• Act as MSF’s on‑site representative, building relationships with agency managers and conducting regular site visits for coaching and performance monitoring.
• Design and deliver engaging training sessions, observe pitches, refine scripts and ensure consistent communication of MSF’s mission.
• Track key performance indicators such as conversion rates, retention and ROI; produce reports and collaborate with digital, BI and retention teams for data‑driven improvements.
• Enforce ethical standards, brand guidelines and PoPIA data‑protection requirements; conduct audits and resolve donor complaints promptly.
• Manage contracts, invoices, logistics and procurement, maintaining dashboards (e.g., Salesforce) for agency renewals.
• Share insights across teams to enhance campaigns, integrate systems and identify innovative fundraising techniques.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in direct sales, fundraising or telemarketing.
• Strong leadership, persuasive communication and a commitment to humanitarian values.

• Monthly salary of R30 447.
