About the role

Hitachi is seeking a Diversity, Opportunity & Inclusion Coordinator to support its global cultural initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace across its South Africa and Poland locations. The role blends remote‑hybrid work with regular office presence and contributes to Hitachi’s mission of balanced social and economic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support global cultural programs, including workshop deployment and licence utilisation monitoring.
• Manage the full lifecycle of workshops: registration, class size optimisation, communications, live poll facilitation, breakout rooms, and post‑workshop reporting.
• Coordinate EMEA DOI initiatives, maintain SharePoint sites, and handle calendar and event communications.
• Develop internal DOI content, curate short‑form videos, and support newsletters and campaigns.
• Consolidate regional data (including Japan) into monthly global reports.

Required profile

• Team‑player motivated by delivering high‑quality work and aligning with Hitachi’s vision.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model with occasional onsite days.
• Strong organisational and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with Mentimeter for live polling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams for virtual collaboration.
• Knowledge of SharePoint for document and project management.
