Distribution Center Coordinator

About the role

The Distribution Center (DC) Coordinator will manage the flow of stock through the DC, ensuring timely pickup and delivery to stores while supporting promotional activities and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Place orders for stores via the call centre and process sales‑rep orders.
• Perform regular stock on‑hand counts for all principals and monitor stock levels on the depot floor.
• Inform stores of promotional activities and ensure optimal stock is delivered to support those promotions.
• Manage sales orders, returns, and product recalls.
• Check for expired stock, notify managers, and arrange re‑orders for short deliveries.
• Liaise with the sales team, buyers, and principals to coordinate deliveries and maintain stock cover on best‑selling items.
• Conduct price surveys and resolve customer complaints.
• Action the optimal flow of merchandise, including meeting product‑marketing introduction deadlines and capacity planning.
