DevOps Engineer – Senior Technical Consultant

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to act as a subject‑matter expert for internal clients. You will translate medium‑to‑high complexity business requirements into robust software solutions and ensure they are delivered end‑to‑end.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Platform Specialists to gather detailed business and user requirements.
• Prepare technical requirement documents, system flowcharts and detailed design specifications.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts, create and test databases, and write code that meets functional specifications.
• Document development procedures, security measures and test readiness throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve logical or data errors, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support installation, deployment, and post‑implementation reviews of applications in production.
• Maintain production code sets in line with defined Service Level Agreements.
• Produce task descriptions for ongoing operation and maintenance of the solution.

Required profile

• Seasoned subject‑matter expert with strong analytical abilities.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into technical designs.
• Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation and specifications.
• Detail‑oriented approach to testing, debugging and post‑implementation support.
