Customer Service Agent

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, patient Customer Service Agent to join a UK‑based client team on a fully remote basis. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression while working from anywhere in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer queries via phone, email, or live chat.
• Resolve complaints and, when necessary, escalate issues following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
• Identify customer needs and provide clear, helpful information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex queries.
• Meet daily service targets and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service, call‑centre, or support role.
• Clear, professional communication in English, both written and spoken.
• A calm, solutions‑focused approach when dealing with difficult situations.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home‑working setup.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM tools.
• Experience with ticketing systems.

• Salary ranging from R13,000 to R15,000 per month, based on experience.
