About the role
The Customer Documents Administrator will support branch operations by handling document flow, data entry and basic customer interactions. Working within Old Mutual's talent pool, you will ensure accurate record keeping and provide courteous service to visitors and callers.
Key responsibilities
- Enter transaction data into branch systems, sort and file related materials.
- Receive and assist visitors, directing complex queries to appropriate colleagues.
- Provide basic customer service support, including data input, filing and photocopying.
- Capture customer name and address in the CRM system at point of purchase.
- Clarify customer product needs and document their intended use.
- Greet customers on calls or in‑store, building rapport and identifying sales opportunities.
- Assist with arranging business meetings and events by checking availability of people and facilities.
- Prepare documents using standard templates and collate required materials.
- Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in personal capability building through training and coaching.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
- Competencies: effective communication, customer focus, accountability, trust, interpersonal savvy and planning.
Required skills
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Data management.
- Sales data management.
