Commercial Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer with strong technology sector expertise, preferably within the UK jurisdiction. The role is fully remote and involves providing practical legal guidance to SaaS and technology clients on a wide range of commercial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and technology agreements such as SaaS contracts, software licensing agreements, master service agreements, service agreements, NDAs and vendor contracts.
• Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, technology operations, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Support clients on UK regulatory, data‑privacy, intellectual property and other technology‑related legal issues.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks across agreements and business operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, executives and external stakeholders to align legal solutions with business objectives.
• Assist with contract lifecycle management and drive legal process improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with developments in UK commercial and technology law.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a valid law degree and professional legal experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in commercial law, with strong exposure to technology or SaaS businesses.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating technology‑related agreements governed by UK law.
• Previous work within the UK jurisdiction.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters independently in a remote environment.
