Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who enjoys building robust, scalable environments. You will work on enterprise‑scale Azure platforms, automation, and modern DevOps practices within a globally operating client.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Develop and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architect and support hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• Ensure security, networking and compliance across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise cloud performance and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Azure certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑305 or AZ‑400.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering with strong Azure exposure.
• Proven experience in DevOps environments and automation practices.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑scale cloud environments.

• Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, security).
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Terraform, Ansible (Infrastructure as Code).
• Docker, Kubernetes (containerisation).
• PowerShell, Python, Bash (scripting).
• Networking concepts: VPN, load balancing, firewalls, routing.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
