Clerk – Sales Order (Fixed-Term)

About the role
The Clerk – Sales Order will support PepsiCo’s sales operations in Johannesburg by processing customer orders received via telephone, email or in‑person. You will ensure accurate order entry, billing and follow‑up on any issues.
Key responsibilities
- Capture sales orders in the SAP system.
- Verify order details and apply appropriate controls.
- Generate inter‑plant purchase orders as required.
- Prepare daily “no order” reports and other routine reports.
- Handle customer queries and complaints promptly.
- Assist with billing and invoice verification.
Required profile
- Grade 12/NQF 3 qualification (Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing is an advantage).
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing or order processing.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Team‑player with safety consciousness.
