About the role
The Buyers Assistant supports the OK Franchise Division’s food buying objectives by handling operational and administrative tasks throughout the purchasing process. You will work closely with the buying team to ensure data accuracy, timely order placement, and effective supplier communication.
Key responsibilities
- Capture buying‑related data in the internal system and ensure its accuracy.
- Place purchase orders and monitor their progress.
- Respond to administrative and data queries from vendors, suppliers, distribution centres, and stores.
- Quality‑check all information entered into the system.
- Maintain product listings, record price increases, and keep master data up to date.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product and pricing information.
- Collaborate with the OK Franchise Buyer and the broader buying team to meet commercial targets.
Required profile
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
- Strong drive and energy to meet expectations and deliver results.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑growing environment.
