Business Systems Architect

About the role

This role sits at the intersection of systems architecture, automation and AI‑driven product innovation within a fast‑growing digital marketing environment. You will design and implement scalable operational systems that transform service delivery and workflow management, supporting the company’s shift from a service‑based model to a product‑led SaaS offering.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI‑driven workflows and intelligent agents to automate internal operations and service delivery.
• Build, manage and continuously optimise advanced ClickUp ecosystems, including dashboards, automations, templates and structured workflows.
• Architect scalable project‑management and operational systems tailored to agency needs and future SaaS transformation.
• Integrate APIs and automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, Airtable and AI tools to reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with leadership to prototype and evolve internal tools into potential SaaS products.
• Rapidly test and iterate system ideas using agile, “build‑first” approaches.
• Document systems, workflows and processes to ensure scalability and consistency across teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in systems building, automation or technical operations, preferably in digital environments.
• Strong expertise in ClickUp, including complex workflow design and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make or Airtable.
• Solid understanding of AI tools, APIs and agent‑based automation.
• Interest or experience in SaaS product development and systems‑to‑product transformation.
• Ability to take ideas from concept to execution with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in digital marketing agencies is a plus.
