Assistant Principal Operations & Blended Learning (Temp)

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a temporary Assistant Principal to lead operations and blended learning at its Midrand High campus. The role ensures smooth school functioning, supports scholar achievement, and drives the implementation of the network’s blended learning model.

Key responsibilities

• Implement school‑wide systems and procedures such as arrivals, dismissals, cover timetables, study‑hall schedules and examination administration.
• Support scholar achievement by setting clear expectations for facilitation and monitoring in all innovation hubs.
• Maintain a regular schedule of observations in innovation hubs and conduct review meetings with blended‑learning facilitators.
• Facilitate professional development for operational staff and blended‑learning facilitators, including bi‑weekly group sessions, one‑on‑one coaching and arranging growth opportunities.
• Oversee the Office Manager’s administration of student information systems and student records.
