Assistant Lodge Management Couple – 5‑Star Safari Lodge

About the role

A prestigious 5‑star luxury safari lodge in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is seeking an experienced couple to join as Assistant Lodge Managers. The role is full‑time, starts immediately and requires living on‑site in a remote setting, supporting seamless guest experiences across front‑of‑house and trail‑guiding operations.

Key responsibilities

• Front‑of‑house duties: guest check‑in/out, guest relations, room preparation, handling payments and admin tasks.
• Staff supervision alongside lodge managers and coordination of special guest requests.
• Guiding duties: conduct two daily game drives, maintain trail safety, and provide engaging wildlife commentary.
• Oversee lodge and property maintenance, especially when senior management is absent.
• Support overall lodge operations, logistics and external activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a 5‑star lodge environment, both front‑of‑house and trail guiding.
• FGASA Level 1, Lead Trails Guide and ARH (or equivalent) certifications.
• Valid First Aid Level 1 and PDP certification.
• Strong administrative, planning and organisational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a remote, high‑pressure setting.
