About the role
The Assistant Front Office Manager supports daily front‑office operations at Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers, ensuring seamless guest experiences and smooth financial procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
- Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards data and ensure rates match market codes.
- Secure payment, handle vouchers, paid‑outs, and charge processing.
- Compile and review daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage contingency lists.
- Provide guests with directions, property information and fulfill special requests by coordinating with relevant staff.
- Balance and drop receipts, count and secure the bank at shift start and end.
- Obtain manual authorizations, follow accounting procedures and notify loss prevention of any theft reports.
- Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling and coaching front‑office team members.
- Maintain safety standards, report accidents, and uphold confidentiality and professional appearance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related hospitality work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
- Cash handling and receipt reconciliation.
