About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client’s head office in Sandton. The role involves a broad range of accounting functions, supporting the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial information.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review account reconciliations.
- Perform financial analysis and ensure timely generation of monthly management reports.
- Assist with management accounts, schedules, and respond to queries.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Handle individual company accounts and undertake ad‑hoc assignments as directed by the Group Financial Executive and Company Secretary.
Required profile
- BCom degree or equivalent academic qualification.
- Completed articles with a reputable accounting firm.
- Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with IFRS.
