Accountant – Management Accounts, Debtors & Payroll

About the role

The Accountant will provide accurate financial information to management by maintaining up‑to‑date accounting data and preparing comprehensive management reports. The role covers management accounts, debtor and creditor administration, accruals, and payroll processing for multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules for allocated legal entities.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and perform month‑end accruals.
• Follow up on debtor invoices, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile debtor ledgers.
• Manage creditor processing, ensure correct invoicing, and resolve supplier queries.
• Maintain accurate accrual lists, capture and reverse accruals, and support internal and external audits.
• Gather payroll data, process timesheets, calculate salaries, overtime and deductions, and run payroll runs for expats and split payrolls.
• Ensure payroll data integrity, answer employee queries, and submit payroll reports on time.

Required profile

• Experience in full‑cycle accounting, including management accounts, debtors, creditors and payroll.
• Strong analytical mindset with an enquiring approach to identify discrepancies and potential fraud.
• Ability to work with multiple legal entities and adhere to relevant legislation and regulations.
