SAIPA Accountant – Entry Level Position

About the role

A leading professional services firm in Gauteng is seeking a newly qualified SAIPA Accountant to join its growing team. This role offers exposure to accounting, tax, advisory and assurance work in a technology‑enabled environment, ideal for candidates who have completed a SAIPA training contract in a small firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and compile annual financial statements for client portfolios.
• Manage bookkeeping and accounting tasks for multiple clients.
• Assist with tax compliance, submissions and respond to SARS queries.
• Support audit and assurance processes as required.
• Contribute to advisory engagements and develop client solutions.
• Utilise modern accounting systems and digital tools while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Completed SAIPA training contract.
• BCom degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in a small‑to‑medium accounting or audit firm, with exposure to financial reporting, tax and client engagements.
