Patient Intake Specialist – EST Hours (Remote)

About the role

The Patient Intake Specialist is the first compassionate voice that prospective patients hear when they reach out for mental‑health and wellness treatments. Working remotely on EST hours, you will bridge distressed callers to life‑changing care provided by a leading US clinic offering FDA‑approved ketamine and esketamine therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, texts and messages from patients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, chronic pain or crisis.
• Conduct structured, empathetic intake conversations lasting 6‑11 minutes to build rapport and gather clinical information.
• Convert interest into scheduled consultations with the appropriate clinicians.
• Document intake details accurately and follow established clinical protocols.
• Maintain a professional, supportive tone while adhering to operational efficiency.
• Work Monday‑Friday EST hours, including South African and U.S. public holidays as required.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and active‑listening skills.
• Ability to remain calm and supportive when callers are in distress.
• Reliable high‑speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps) and a stable power‑backup solution.
• Willingness to work according to EST schedule and observe both SA and US holiday calendars.
