About the role
Mossop Leather, South Africa’s oldest tannery, is seeking a full‑time Logistics Administrator to join its Wellington site. You will coordinate supply‑chain activities, handle export and import paperwork, and oversee shipping operations to ensure smooth, compliant movement of goods.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end logistics processes, including supply‑chain coordination and shipping oversight.
- Prepare and verify export and import documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to guarantee timely delivery of leather products.
- Monitor compliance with customs, transport and environmental regulations.
- Respond to customer inquiries and maintain clear communication throughout the logistics cycle.
Required profile
- Strong background in supply‑chain and logistics management.
- Proficiency with export procedures and international shipping processes.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within leather or manufacturing.
- Degree or certification in Logistics, Supply‑Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
