Line Setter – General Worker (Manufacturing)

About the role

Revlon Elizabeth Arden is seeking a Line Setter – General Worker to join its manufacturing team. The role focuses on preparing and optimizing production lines for a global beauty brand, ensuring smooth start‑ups, changeovers and compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect the weekly production schedule and coordinate priorities with the line leader.
• Verify component and bulk availability, confirm correct batch codes and fill weights.
• Obtain QC approval before line start‑up and arrange filler sanitation.
• Communicate startup risks to the Shift Manager and Line Leader.
• Set up the production line, run test samples and submit them for quality approval.
• Perform autonomous maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Execute efficient line changeovers to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
• N3 Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven track record in line setup, machine calibration and changeover processes.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, GMP and 5S principles.
