Junior Telecom Rigger

About the Position

Join a dynamic team as a Junior Rigger to support the critical deployment and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure across the Gauteng province. Working closely with our Lead Rigging Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring network connectivity and structural integrity in the field.

Main Missions

• Perform rigging operations for masts and towers to ensure stable installations.
• Execute groundworks, including excavation and foundation construction for telecom structures.
• Install telecommunications equipment and implement necessary protective structures.
• Conduct basic welding and structural maintenance tasks on-site.
• Manage company vehicles, including driving, monitoring fuel consumption, and performing routine maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols while working at heights and in outdoor environments.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications, rigging, or construction.
• High School Diploma (Grade 12/Matric) is required.
• Valid driver's license held for at least one year.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor conditions.
• Flexible availability to handle on-call shifts and travel to various sites.
