Human Resources Generalist – Cape Town

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our mining operations in Cape Town. The role will support the business by delivering end‑to‑end people services, ensuring compliance with legislation, and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment and selection cycle aligned with business needs.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee‑relations issues.
• Advise on people‑management matters and support performance‑management processes.
• Develop and monitor individual training plans and learning‑and‑development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Employment Equity, Skills Development Act, and other legislative reporting requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee records in line with legal standards.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives that add value to the organization.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to site locations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Knowledge of mine health and safety requirements.
