About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Office & Reception professional to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced, high‑energy hotel environment. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations and enquiries while upholding our service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Adhere to all front desk policies and procedures.
- Manage guest registration, check‑ins, check‑outs and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Provide information on hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfil guest requests.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, room assignments and end‑of‑day reporting.
- Process payments, manage cash and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain a tidy, organised front desk area and ensure health‑and‑safety protocols are followed.
- Use Opera PMS for guest information, check‑ins and check‑outs.
Required profile
- Recognised hospitality qualification (preferred).
- 1–2 years experience in a 4/5‑star hotel receptionist role.
- Well‑groomed, professional appearance and confident demeanor.
- Excellent telephone, email etiquette and strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage conflict, multitask and work under pressure.
- Positive, friendly attitude with strong organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and evenings.
- Fluent English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Opera PMS.
