Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance activities in a high‑performance milling environment. The role focuses on driving asset reliability, safety, and operational excellence within a large‑scale food production facility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary maintenance teams and set plant availability targets.
• Develop and implement proactive asset management and preventative maintenance programmes.
• Manage breakdown maintenance, root‑cause analysis, and major shutdowns.
• Oversee CAPEX projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA regulations, ISO standards, and insurer requirements.
• Control engineering budgets, spares inventory, and procurement processes.
• Conduct loss‑tree and Pareto analyses to identify recurring equipment failures.
• Manage outsourced maintenance providers and contractor performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and align maintenance planning with production schedules.

Required profile

• GCC Factories certification (essential).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a GCC Factory Engineer.
• National Diploma, HND or Degree in Engineering.
• Strong experience with maintenance systems, asset management and plant reliability.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and engineering processes.
• Proven people‑leadership capability.
