Commercial Manager

About the role

The Commercial Manager provides direct commercial support and insight to finance and customer teams, as well as principals and customers, driving profitability and strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in formulating and implementing the national commercial strategy with a 2‑to‑5‑year outlook.
• Calculate and provide accurate pricing information for annual price negotiations and manage pricing contracts with customers and principals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, highlighting opportunities for rate reductions, efficiency gains and profitability improvements.
• Draft new contracts and service level agreements in collaboration with legal, customer and finance teams, and oversee formal sign‑off.
• Monitor contract terms, allocation of charges and renewal schedules to ensure compliance with agreed rates.
• Compile and review budgeting and sales forecasting, analyse revenue drivers and produce monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial strategy, pricing negotiations and contract management.
• Ability to collaborate with finance, customer and legal teams to support profitability decisions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret revenue drivers and profitability impacts.
