About the role
The Admin Controller will ensure the smooth operation of administrative, financial and operational processes at our luxury property in Dullstroom. Reporting to senior management, you will act as the primary liaison between the hotel and outsourced financial services, maintaining accurate records and supporting day‑to‑day administration.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain employee files, leave applications, rosters and attendance records for payroll.
- Process payroll queries, support staff training administration and manage the clock‑in system.
- Handle onboarding and off‑boarding paperwork, petty cash, till floats and change requests.
- Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports, monitor bank balances and conduct cash‑ups and night audit reconciliations.
- Collate, verify and file invoices, receipts and supplier documentation; scan and submit invoices for processing.
- Provide payment, refund and deposit breakdowns to the reservations team and manage porterage, commissions, bonuses and tips.
- Assist the Stock Controller, maintain licences and compliance documents, and coordinate equipment servicing.
- Organise internal events, safeguard important company records, manage mail and liaise with suppliers.
Required profile
- Previous experience in administration, bookkeeping or hotel administration.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable, trustworthy and highly organised.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
