Litigation Support Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Job Duck is seeking a motivated Litigation Support Specialist to join a fast‑paced family law practice. Working remotely from Monday to Friday, you will assist attorneys and clients throughout the case lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality documentation and smooth workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily client communications and calls.
• Support back‑office legal operations and workflow implementation.
• Assist attorneys with strategic case planning and execution.
• Meet with clients and maintain clear, professional communication.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to streamline case progression.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation within Clio.
• Generate reports and affidavits related to spousal support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
• Provide litigation support, including legal drafting and preparation of legal documents.
• Review and analyze discovery responses for completeness and accuracy.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a law firm.
• Strong legal drafting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication (Spanish a plus).
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Confidence in client‑facing interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Reliable remote work setup with stable internet.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Clio case‑management platform.
• Experience using AI tools and other legal technology platforms.
• Ability to generate legal reports and affidavits.
