About the role
The Category Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Red Bull’s Energy category strategy and building long‑term partnerships with retail and gas‑station partners. Working closely with the National Key Account Sales Team, you will translate category insights into growth opportunities that increase Red Bull’s sales and market share.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Red Bull sales leaders, national account teams, and key retail partners.
- Act as the primary category expert, providing insight‑driven recommendations for joint business plans.
- Develop and execute strategic category management plans aligned with retailer goals and shopper needs.
- Lead in‑store category growth initiatives, including SKU optimisation, product mix, pricing, merchandising and shelf placement.
- Analyse syndicated scanning data, shopper loyalty data and market demographics to generate actionable insights.
- Educate and enable the sales team with tools, presentations and ongoing support to capitalise on category opportunities.
- Manage and develop Category Specialists within the team.
Required profile
- Proven experience in category management, preferably within the energy or beverage sector.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills to influence retail customers and internal stakeholders.
- Track record of delivering growth initiatives and improving in‑store execution.
