Apprentice Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Apprentice Technician to join our service team at Drive Autogroup. The role offers hands‑on experience repairing customer and company vehicles, learning Nissan’s maintenance standards, and developing diagnostic skills in a fast‑paced workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and maintenance repairs on customer‑owned vehicles according to repair orders and Nissan Canada schedules.
• Repair company‑owned, new, used and service vehicles as assigned.
• Carry out warranty work while complying with warranty policies.
• Road‑test vehicles after service to confirm successful repairs.
• Communicate repair findings and additional required work to the Service Manager or Advisor.
• Attend mandatory training courses and dealership meetings.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Manage tools responsibly and refer customer enquiries to the Service Consultant.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract.
• Strong enthusiasm for automotive service and a willingness to share knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose service problems and plan repairs efficiently.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
