Skilled Worker / Welder – Cable & Instrument Installation

About the role

We are looking for two experienced Skilled Workers/Welders to join an industrial team in Tzaneen, South Africa. The role focuses on cable, conduit and instrumentation installation within power plant and heavy‑engineering environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install cable trays, conduits and support systems according to technical drawings.
• Assist with instrument mounting, tubing installation and cable routing.
• Perform cable glanding and termination support work.
• Support supervisors during loop checks, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain tools, work areas and housekeeping standards.
• Report defects, hazards and incomplete work to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and permit requirements.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial, power‑plant or heavy‑engineering settings.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of site safety procedures.
