Field Service Technician – Onsite Installation & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver primary on‑site support for our automatic fruit and vegetable processing lines. The role involves installing, testing and maintaining equipment, with frequent travel across South Africa and occasional international assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support and service for processing lines.
• Install, commission and test automatic sorting and packing equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Travel to customer sites according to a flexible schedule, including occasional trips abroad.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Mechanical background or experience preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as welding equipment.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Reliability, precision and flexibility.
